If you are like most busy adults in Sonoma Valley, trying to prioritize your health can feel like an uphill battle.
Between managing a career, raising kids, maintaining a relationship with your partner, and juggling family responsibilities, making time for a primary care appointment lands at the bottom of the to-do list. And when you finally do make it to the clinic, sitting in a crowded waiting room for a rushed ten-minute appointment leaves you feeling like a number on a chart rather than a partner in your own healthcare.
I built Sonoma Valley Nurse Practitioners Group to change that.
As a doctorally prepared adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (DNP, AGNP-C, GS-C), I believe healthcare should meet you where you are — offering unhurried, evidence-based care designed to keep you healthy, active, and thriving at every stage of life.
Direct primary care: a relationship-centered approach
Traditional healthcare is driven by insurance rules, co-pays, and patient loads that force providers to hurry through visits. At Sonoma Valley Nurse Practitioners Group we operate on a direct primary care model — a membership-based structure that removes the insurance middleman and puts the focus back on you.
Through a transparent monthly membership, you get:
- Time to actually talk. Visits last 30 to 60 minutes — at your kitchen table or by telehealth — so we can cover the full picture, not just one quick symptom.
- Direct access. Send a secure message, a text, or call when you have a question, and get real advice without the runaround.
- Proactive risk modification. We focus on evidence-based screening, lifestyle optimization, and heading off chronic conditions before they start.
- No hidden fees. Clear, predictable pricing without copays or surprise deductible bills.
Evidence-based care meets real-life balance
My approach to clinical practice is rooted in evidence-based medicine and risk modification. Whether we are evaluating cardiovascular health, managing metabolic markers, or protecting cognitive function, every recommendation I make is backed by research and tailored to your life.
My background is deeply tied to brain health, cognitive change, and healthy aging. Working closely with older adults over my career taught me something I want every 40-year-old to hear: aging well does not begin in your 60s or 70s. The foundation for long-term physical strength, energy, and mental clarity is built in our 30s, 40s, and 50s.
At the same time, I know optimal health does not happen in a vacuum. As a working mother raising an active young boy alongside an entrepreneur husband, I understand the real friction of trying to maintain a healthy body and mind on a full schedule.
So I do not hand out rigid, impossible plans. I work with you to set realistic, achievable goals that fit your actual schedule, your family, and your life.
Supporting Sonoma Valley adults 35 and beyond
Whether you are establishing a solid health baseline in your 30s or 40s, navigating burnout, managing early metabolic shifts, or protecting your cognitive health for the long haul, nurse-practitioner-led primary care offers a genuine health partnership.
And for our older neighbors, that same partnership comes to the front door: unhurried house calls, deep medication reviews, home safety, and continuous coordination with family — with clinical visits billed to Medicare Part B.
Healthcare should not feel like another stressor on your calendar. You deserve an expert partner who listens, understands your day-to-day reality, and gives you the tools to stay well for years to come.
